I just ordered three more of these - I'd given my neice and nephew Lava Lamps as I'd been enjoying mine so much, but I wanted to give them these to go with the lamps, as if you've ever seen a Lava Lamp that's been on for a while - it gets hot and all the 'goo' floats to the top. However, with the dimmer switches, you plug the Lava Lamp into one of these, then you can control how hot the lamp gets.
