At the time I didn't know what I would use it for but figured it would come in handy at some point. Last week I needed to take apart a chair and one of the 1/2" bolts stripped. There was no room for a hacksaw or any other tool I had. This thing cut through the bolt, while easily avoiding damaging anything else, in less than a minute.
