Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-11-29 Summary: Power! ... Hammer drilled 42 holes, 1/2" diameter, at a 6" depth into a concrete block retaining wall, cells filled with concrete. Wow this thing took about 20 seconds for each hole using a little drizzle of water to keep the Hilti Quad carbide bit head cool (I paid a whopping $50 for this bit but was worth it, lasts longer and cuts faster and I can sharpen the carbide bits). It comes with a nice case and at $168 including shipping and handling, it's a steal! ...more

I had some trouble using smaller hammer drills so I figured this would speed up the process. It drilled a clean hole in the concrete w/ no effort. I have only used it once so far, but felt the need to post the review. Vibration was nothing compared to my other drill, and the DH24PF3 was much quieter.
